Premium care
Welcome
My own dog Dessa, a very well socialized Lakeland Terrier, exudes calm and confidence, which has a calming effect on active dogs. She is very "docile", reserved and can act as a positive role model for other dogs.
Our premium dog service doesn't just walk your dog.
On request, we will take care of everything your furry friend needs to be a happy dog. In the time when you can't be with him, you can rely on us to look after him professionally. We only look after small packs of maximum 3 dogs per carer so that your dog gets as much attention as possible. We also offer one-to-one care.
We give him the necessary amount of exercise and rest, pay attention to his excretions and behavior and inform you immediately of any abnormalities. Inspecting the coat and checking the amount of food and water intake are also part of our service.
During the initial consultation, we will discuss your dog's needs, preferences, special features, the aim of the care and the handover arrangements with you.
Of course, we will pick up your dog and bring him back within a 20-minute drive.
We choose our four favorite walks according to the needs (quiet or active experiences) and the external conditions.
See below our daily highlights in beautiful Richterswil.
Route 1: Mühlibachtobel path to Sternenweiher and back 3.7 km, duration: 1.5 hours to 2 hours

What does my dog's body language tell me?
It's important to pay attention to other body signals and context to better understand your dog's behavior. Your dog's body language reveals a lot about his feelings and intentions. A wagging tail indicates happiness, while a tucked tail indicates uncertainty.
Erect ears signal interest or attention, while retracted ears indicate fear or submissiveness.
A relaxed body often indicates contentment, while tension or stiffness indicates discomfort. Pay attention to eyes, mouth and posture to develop a more complete understanding of your dog's feelings.
Route 2: Reidholz forest to the castle ruins and back 1.5km - 2.5km, duration: between 45 min and 1.5 hours

What do the droppings reveal about my four-legged friend?
The ideal consistency of your dog's excrement is firm, but not too hard or too soft. Well-formed feces are a sign of healthy digestion.
Changes in color, consistency or frequency may indicate health problems.
If any abnormalities persist, please inform us immediately. It is then advisable to consult a vet to obtain an accurate diagnosis.
Route 3: lakeside path Bäch to Horn Richterswil and optionally to Wädenswil am See and back between 3km - 10km, duration: 1 hour to 3 hours

My dog doesn't get along with others.
What can I do?
If your dog has difficulty getting along with other dogs, it could be for a number of reasons. It can be caused by socialization problems, insecurity or territorial behaviour.
It is important to observe your dog's behavior and seek professional help from our dog training service if necessary. Gradual and positive socialization helps to improve your dog's relationship with other dogs. There is also the option of one-to-one support.
Route 4: Once around the Au peninsula 2.5km - 4km, duration: 45 min to 75 min

My female dog is in heat or my male dog is not neutered, what now?
If your male dog is not neutered and there is a female dog in heat nearby, it is important to supervise him particularly well to avoid unwanted pregnancies. We keep him away from bitches in heat and avoid unsupervised outdoor outings where he might meet other dogs. If you are considering neutering, a discussion with your vet may give you more information and recommendations.
If your dog is in heat, it's important to make sure she doesn't get pregnant during this time. We keep her away from unneutered males and supervise her carefully, especially when we go outside. You could also speak to the vet for further advice on care and control during heat.
